@joho @tomjennings @nafmo All documents from the swedish page are now mirrored on https://telematique.org/fidonet/ .The page is basically the swedish one with the addittion of one big zip with everything for whomever wants to mirror or download everything.Please let me know if something got lost in the transfer 😉

88 operators have fully or partially suspended their postal services with the United States, leading to a drop of more than 80% in traffic to the country following the imposition of new customs duties by Washington.The Universal Postal Union (UPU) is working on "the rapid development of a new technical solution that will allow mail delivery to the United States to resume,".These companies include Germany's Deutsche Post and the British postal operator Royal Mail.UPU rules postal exchanges.

@tomjennings @jon_bon @joho Unfortunately you are 200% right. Moving people from whatsapp to signal is already a battle here (in europe) where we are pretty conscious about data privacy.I was both flabbergasted and horrified when I was in Indonesia a couple of weeks ago that there when they say they will text/call you, they mean whatsapp. EVERYTHING works with whatsapp. When I asked them what happened the day it went down, I had blank stares - not to metion privacy...

@tomjennings I think I see (not enough coffee). There are also external services with something like a distribution list where you get automatically all the post sent to the list, that might also do it. I'm in some of them, but I'll need to dig to find what they're called.

@tomjennings DR dos was excellent. That's what we had on the computer to run the 2 BBS /Fido lines simultaneously before we moved to OS/2.Very solid multitasking.
