       What the #Trump admin laid out at the classified briefing was perceived by several senators as pursuing a new legal framework raising questions regarding the role of #Congress in authorizing such action….As the admin takes aim at vessels in the #Caribbean, senators & lawmakers of both parties have raised stark objections.        @Nonilex I think "international" is "between nations" and "intranational" is " within a nation". I have no idea what "non-international" is. I'm betting it's from one of his lawyers, dancing around needing to get a declaration of war from Congress.

       @Nonilex My guess is that what he means by "non-international" is "not between nations."  Whatever this is certainly isn't between nations, but it's not clear that an "armed conflict" qualifies as a war when it's not between nations, and it's also not clear that both sides of this conflict are armed.
