I'm done with the left-right dichotomy. I'm going with ethical vs. unethical from now on. Evil people have done the most ridiculous word games and goal post shifting for far too long.Ethical is now left, the opposite of right…Unethical is now right, the opposite of wrong…🤷 I've had enough of this. Questions?#politics #ethics

@iwein Not _everything_ the right does is unethical, but it's getting pretty damn close.Well, in the US in particular, it might already be everything, though.

@divVerent let's talk about traditional ethical behavior we want to conserve. I'm open to that. Not sure who you mean by 'the right' 🙂

@iwein As an example, in Germany only two parties support opposing Putin's war with action:The right-wing CDU/CSU, and the left-wing Green party. All others prefer appeasement politics or even outright support to Russia, probably because it has worked so well (for Germany) back then.(Die Linke, the most left-wing party Germany has, is kinda weird there, as they oppose any _action_ against Russia but want to use _economic sanctions_ only - but that's futile as long as not a larger group, like the entire EU, can join forces in them, and that's impossible thanks to Hungary and Slovakia - which of course have right-wing governments, so effectively Die Linke have to be counted as putinist, which is sad)
