       @grickle 🦆 What's fun... I once *was* the Duck of Shame - in the first meeting I ever attended at my school.  There was a job that a senior faculty member needed to do - and nobody wanted to do it.  Eventually, I got to the point where I went, "I'll do it, if no one else will!" - thereby becoming the Duck of Shame.  Eventually a kind of job-sharing arrangement was made by which the responsibilities could be divided among multiple people.I eventually had that job, years later.  It was... well, let's just say I know why nobody in that room wanted that job.
