Ok, Gotham got the win 🦇, but they still only lasted about 30 minutes before conceding possession for the rest of the game. After that it was a game of Lob It or Lose It, where they'd lose the ball in 2 passes, or lob it forward to clear it. I don't think they had any chances in the second half. That's not going to work the rest of the season, in my opinion. Lavelle and Dunn did inject some life, but didn't change the tactics. Still, happy with the win.#nwsl #yerrr

Gotham has a tendency to start with energy, but when that first goal doesn't come in the first 15 minutes they tend to fold, and the rest of the game is a slog. The only game we really saw them have a strong 2nd half was against KC. I wonder what we'll see against the Courage tonight. #nwsl

The next Women's World Cup will be streamed on Netflix. Some are saying this is bad because it puts the sport behind a paywall. But more than half of the matches in the 2023 WC required an expensive cable subscription. As of right now, the number of subscribers of cable & Netflix is essentially equal in the US, and by 2027 Netflix should be ahead. So it looks like MORE people will have access this time around. Granted, that ignores the OTA broadcasts. So, how do you TV? Please boost 🙂#WoSo

@CatEveryHour I don't know why, but I find it endearing that this is a really shitty quality picture of what is sure to be a good quality photoshoot. Sometimes it's the shitty side pics we like the best.
