       When I got my COVID booster, I was surprised to learn that one had to have preexisting health conditions to get it when one is under sixty-five. As a matter of practicality, the pharmacy can't do anything more than ask.        Another takeaway from this bit of news: I've been better at ignoring RFK Jr. news than I thought. I imagine most of us are doing this kind of self-care to varying degrees these days.
