@cjd it seems a lot like it he's simply offering the truth. Even if you position it as an analog, what are you really saying? I get the impression a lot of the unspoken stuff is also very dependent on religion and/or religious beliefs.

A lot has been written on the Fall From Grace, but in this case it's not that complex. It's just the fact that they hid that story in The Matrix.Red Pill, learn the truth, eyes opened, no going back to innocence. It is very clearly a re-telling of the Fall.

@cjd but then, the "no going back to innocence" has unspoken assumptions and connotations, doesn't it?Doesn't this also tie in to the morality discussion: would you do bad things without the threat of hell? (I.e. "[..] without the leash.")Or as someone said, paraphased: "I'm an atheist. [..] I do all the raping I want. And the amount of raping I want to do is 0 (zero)."

Precisely. I am a Heretic, I do not accept the Old and New Testament to be authentic. The reason is pure logic, away from God's Grace nothing is protected from entropy and worse. The true creation of God, the "heavenly man" does not have the necessary substances in this reality to sustain. So, we are imprisoned in this human animal shell God has chosen for us.But Jesus could not know it, could not explain this to the contemporaries, because Jesus too was limited by this reality.You do not need to be "religious" to accept the fact that anti-matter is not the only mirror of this reality, there is another, what we call "heavenly" stuff.
