       Ever since John and Adam said it, I really can't stand when people tell me to "Be safe!" What do you mean by this? Don't go out wielding a machete today? Or, are you saying I should be timid and afraid of danger at all times, and maybe take anxiety meds? How about be sober and vigilant! Be alert! Be brave! Have courage! Be fearless! Tell me something virtuous for crying out loud.

       @wy7usa @one_percent @Invictus Saying it randomly is weird.My wife and I say that or "make good decisions" to my kids (early 20s) as they head out the door.It's code for "don't drink and drive, don't get pregnant, don't get in a fight".I also say "Safe travels" to folks as they leave town. Left over from work when all of us were traveling endlessly in the 2000 & 2010s.
