       I don't like to harp on about these things; but I've just managed to get a Windows install running from a thumb drive, and that's...not great, but it's what I wanted to achieve.Because fuck Edge, the first thing I did was download the Librewolf installer. I had to confirm in Edge twice that I wanted to download it. Then I had to confirm twice in Explorer that I wanted to install it. Then I had to confirm with Defender that I wanted to install it.Jesus fuck, Windows got really fucking bad.

       @DJDarren@mendeddrum.org I don't like to harp on about these thingsBut you should! By talking about it, people can learn there are better ways to interact with computers. Most people don't realize they could break free from the chains of Windows, they actively need to hear it from someone else. You should talk about how awful Windows is, and preferably also which free software alternatives exist, to help people understand they're not forced to endure the chains of proprietary software.

       Now installing Kubuntu into a VM so I can copy the installation over to the same thumb drive.I do enjoy how it asks you to input a password, tells you it's too short if it's only 4 characters, but lets you use it anyway, because Linux don't really care.
