       AOL news has a listicle article on the six worst sandwich chains and I’m gratified they hit all six that I loathe. Subway, Panera, Quiznos, Blimpie, Firehouse and Jimmy John’s. All total shit.

       @kevbob the thing about firehouse is they don’t just do terrible overpriced subs, they also cloak it in the idea of it somehow being sort of a non-profit that helps firefighters when it’s a private company. It all feels gross there.

       @mathowie @kevbob yeah that always weirded me out too. I can't even remember what sandwich I thought they were OK at making? Probably the meatball??As for that sandwich shop list -- the founder of Jimmy John's is the cousin of the founder of Big Mike's Super Subs in Madison, WI which was relaunched as Milio's some years ago. Their menus are nearly identical but Milios always had better bread and ingredients. It was so strange that both existed in the same area when Jimmy John's expanded to Madison because the menus are even like numbered the same ...Man now I'm craving a number 4 with hotshttps://milios.com/menu/
