@historyofpunkrock one of the most incongruous shows I saw was unexpected. East Bay Ray and Klaus Flouride doing covers and taking requests with a drummer at the Beach Chalet on the Great Highway in San Francisco as “Jumbo Shrimp” around 2000 or so. Chatted them up after the show noting the amusing circumstance. Musicians gotta pay the bills in the down time!
