@jhaue It is level two autonomous driving.Computer does the easy stuff.When it is faced with a complex issue, it doesn't know how to respond to, it hands over to a driver.A driver, who hasn't been paying attention.Has no situational awarenessHas reduced skills, because they have been relying on the car to drive and have not driven much.What could go wrong.

Instead of automation that enhances a human operator's ability to control and direct the vehicle (the combo being a centaur), it reduces the human to a tool for taking liability when the automation inevitably fails.@jhaue
