       @LadyButters it's got pickling spice in it, I just made my own using the same ingredients that were on the label of an old jar I had knocking around..Otherwise I followed Delia Smith, here's the recipe 😊Be a little wary though, I am not sure US pints are the same as UK ones so maybe convert from litres so make sure you have the right amount of vinegar?

       @carolen Thank you so much for this! I have a ton of green tomatoes on my plants and would love to do something other than fried green tomatoes. I also never realized a US pint is 4 ounces less than a UK pint. It must be disappointing for travelers from the UK to order a pint of beer and get 20% less than they're used to 😆

       @LadyButters you're very welcome 😁 I hope the recipe works out for you. I used red onions this year as they were on an offer and the raw chutney seems to me mellower than the stuff I have made in previous years with ordinary brown ones.Yes, not sure why US and UK quantities have to be different; gallons are different too! Maybe the pilgrims were trying to assert themselves 😂
