You want to be sure your food is not poisonous and isn't making you sick in some way? Then the only way to do it is to grow it yourself. It's easy: just find the right farm, move there, learn how to plant and care for crops & veggies & fruit and how to store/pickle them. You can't afford farming machines? Here a schematic how to build them yourselves. Oh, you have a full time job? Well, others manage to run a farm next to one.Yes, this is a post about self-hosting (everything).

@vicgrinberg Okay, but for me it's a thought experiment that goes awry three ways. You can't self-host anything, but you also can't trust another person, or help someone else's scam. And no matter how academic, benevolent and open you start out, all products enshittify at a steady rate. And few would want to go and handle someone else's mail, because then your users can and do use it to extort people. So I've come to accept we can't use products. Capitalism is dead.
