One thing I really appreciate about rap fans is that all the ones I've met don't give the remotest hot shit about genre. If they like something, they like it, regardless if it's rap or not. "Bro, this slaps. Who is this? Cattle Decapitation? Play this shit every day from now on."In other news, today my coworker became a fan of The Amity Affliction.

@nateb what band was the first one to do that screamo then power ballad then screamo style, because i cannot stand it. It always makes me laugh so hard when they go "YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHAAAAAA and i love you so much i want to give you little kisses on the nose" Laugh. every time.

@picofarad lol to each their own. Personally I love the way songs like that breathe. I'm rarely all in on one particular feel in a song from start to finish. I find it boring. I like when songs mix it up. That's why I never got into more extreme metals like speed, death, black, etc. Some of it I can do, but not most. It needs more variation than those have to offer me. Same with other genres. I don't listen to a lot of slow songs or ballads. Mix it up a bit.
