I'm now safe at a friends' place in Düsseldorf.Bank card has been frozen and a new card has been issued.Theft transactions have been reported, hopefully I will get that money back soon. The thief was very quick to use the cards I had in that wallet.Passport has been cancelled, I will be visiting the British Consulate tomorrow to see if I can get temporary travel documents sorted.I am also going to see if I can get a replacement passport sorted out as soon as possible, otherwise I may be denied travel plans to Eurofurence in a couple of weeks. This will probably cost a lot of money I do not currently have.Other lost possessions include a power bank, my glasses, prescription meds for migraines, Miku (my plush travel raccoon with a lot of wristbands that cannot be replaced), Vurpo's headphones, a viking line water bottle, a raincoat and a collection of public transport cards (some of which cannot be replaced). A lot of these can be replaced, but I'm very upset about losing Miku.

Ironically there is also a tracking tag in the bag but I'm a fool and didn't replace the batteries. My old Galaxy Note 8 with the cracked screen is also in that bag.The bag itself has my name, email and phone number written on the inside, I'm really hoping the thief only took the passport and bank cards and dumped the bag itself somewhere. I really hope I can find it again.

The situation has also been reported to the local police. I could really do with some good luck right now. It was one thing having the bubble bobble plush stolen during Evoke, but this is a whole new level of bullshit.

My mum has kindly paid for the travel docs for me to return home. I will need another £178 to order a 1 week fast track passport which my mum can't pay for. If anyone is willing to help pay for this please let me know, I need to pay for it as soon as possible otherwise I will not be going to Eurofurence and Hackfest next month.

I have successfully managed to obtain an emergency travel document, which means I should be able to return home safely on Tuesday. I just need to make sure I keep it close to me while travelling home and nobody pickpockets it.

replacement passport has been paid for, with kind help from @pup_hime who stepped in and let me use her phone when my own one decided to suspend firefox while I was making a transaction and screwed up the application. If all goes well, I should hopefully get a new passport in the post at home by Thursday next week, one day before I leave the country again to travel to EF.

if I don't manage to get Miku back in my hands, I will at least try to get a replacement of the same plush toy, and seek out to see if anyone would be kind enough to donate event wristbands from previous events I have been to. Since a lot of them were from demoparties, they might actually be replaceable.
