Finally got through to someone at Halifax over the phone, they noticed a large chunk of declined payments on the card. They're now in the process of cancelling and refunding the pending transactions.

I've started to receive German spam calls today. I've been answering them in hope someone has found my bag since my mobile number is left inside the bag. My bag is now in the hand of scammers it seems, that's really upsetting.

replacement passport has been paid for, with kind help from @pup_hime who stepped in and let me use her phone when my own one decided to suspend firefox while I was making a transaction and screwed up the application. If all goes well, I should hopefully get a new passport in the post at home by Thursday next week, one day before I leave the country again to travel to EF.

I now need to go over everything that went missing in my backpack and see if I can get replacements for the things that are replaceable before I return home. Of course, they will be delivered to my home address. If anyone wants to chip in and help me replace things, please let me know.

if I don't manage to get Miku back in my hands, I will at least try to get a replacement of the same plush toy, and seek out to see if anyone would be kind enough to donate event wristbands from previous events I have been to. Since a lot of them were from demoparties, they might actually be replaceable.

Thank you everyone who attended the #demoscene talk at #eurofurence today! The fact that we managed to fill an even larger room than we had at NFC with audience members excites me a lot about how much interest there is in the demoscene as a whole!I unfortunately forgot to show the final statistics from the poll I linked during the talk, but here it is in image form.There were a lot of talented people sitting in that audience, and I think you should all explore taking part in the demoscene, it's a really fun way to express yourself, or work as a team to show off your skills to a huge audience of like minded people.Maybe some day, if there's enough interest, we can host a mini demo-party at a furry con!:blobraccoon_aww_animated:
