       @blocsonic I doubt this is something you'd want to move to but maybe doing so with heavy mods could be in the future. At the very least it might be useful to get your take on what features would be essential. @wiloma perhaps you could send out the bat-signal to folks that might want to be involved in this.@dlikdh might be of interest for ccm@@wjmaggos I know you are big on getting things hooked into the fediverse, so i figured I'd make sure you knew about this initiative. #ccmusic #netlabels

       @musicman @blocsonic @wiloma @dlikdh I feel like I've said this before but yea, my hope for funkwhale was to be a wordpress for musicians (labels and/or bands/artists). then it became clear bandwagon was more interested in that role. mirlo and faircamp too.but bandwagon is the only one so far providing fedi accounts. it's great, esp re spreading the anti corporate gospel. but I don't think we've exactly cracked how to use decentralized social media to allow fans to help music go viral here.

       @wjmaggos @musicman @blocsonic @wiloma @dlikdh Agreed. “Do it with ActivityPub” is a nice start, but not enough. There are a few other ideas out there (like sharing and remixing playlists) but we can do better.I’m open to any ideas you all have, no matter how crazy they are

I'd guess AP would be a part of this but music boosts should show up in a music app, not my regular timeline imo. when I go to listen to something, I should be able to see a section of music that the people I follow recommended. when I listen to music (even when played by an online radio DJ like @ryno), I should be able to mark it to listen to later and boost it to my followers. decentralized streaming eventually.
