@Haikyoneko he is trying to learn the violin! Haha. I hope he enjoys the ensemble class…

@Haikyoneko Is it the hardest? Haha i thought they are all about the same (the cello used to give me massive finger blisters when I dabbled in it in school. From a finger perspective the violin was easier on me)I been eyeing the kids with their baby cellos and… maybe if musuko expresses interest will let him try cello too.

@solsetur ah, my girlfriend is a professional cellist. She has to practise every day (even now when she's on holiday in Thailand!), but violinists have to practice even more! So many hours a day. She said it's definitely more damanding.

@Haikyoneko did she fly her cello out to Thailand too? I have heard cellist have to buy extra seats for their cellos on the plane, otherwise they have to source for a loaner cello. That really takes dedication. This was partly the reason why I started musuko with violin, more portable…

@solsetur she always buys an extra seat for her cello! It's over 300 years old...She complained that she couldn't get an extra meal 😅But she has a small foldable travel cello there, but this time she's managed to borrow a modern cello off another cellist who plays around Asia.

@solsetur there's a great book by Kate Kennedy called Cello that explains the bond between a cellist their instrument.

@Haikyoneko thanks i will definitely find this book!Foldable cello!! Am going to google this.I still think the cello sounds nicer than the violin haha, never mind the finger blisters. Maybe one day I will go back and pick up the cello again.
