@Haikyoneko i used to have bad sinus issues too… hope you had good meds. Eh those sterile sea salt nasal sprays used to work pretty well, not sure if they are easy to get where you are but they could be obtained without prescription here. (Sometimes they were the secret weapon for sinus related headaches too)Get well soon!! I remember how tiring and annoying everything is when you are this sick.

@Haikyoneko Is it the hardest? Haha i thought they are all about the same (the cello used to give me massive finger blisters when I dabbled in it in school. From a finger perspective the violin was easier on me)I been eyeing the kids with their baby cellos and… maybe if musuko expresses interest will let him try cello too.

@Haikyoneko did she fly her cello out to Thailand too? I have heard cellist have to buy extra seats for their cellos on the plane, otherwise they have to source for a loaner cello. That really takes dedication.This was partly the reason why I started musuko with violin, more portable…

@Haikyoneko thanks i will definitely find this book!Foldable cello!! Am going to google this.I still think the cello sounds nicer than the violin haha, never mind the finger blisters. Maybe one day I will go back and pick up the cello again.

@pizaman this came about cos my cousin said her French friend just wandered off to pee in the open on a street in Osaka (!!!) and I recalled reading something about peeing posts in England.. so I started researching and found this.But in historical context I guess a pissoir is better than having none, but to have it that open and with no flushing facilities today challenges what I think is socially acceptable and polite behaviour haha.Does the one near your place have no running water?

Interesting.I am very sure I saw a pic some time ago of like metal posts or something in a wall allegedly near some english pub to serve as a peeing spot, but haven't been able to find it. Maybe it was AI slop? At least these receptacles probably keep the surroundings clean
