       Finishing up rewatching TNG. in the later seasons the majority of the cast has the new-style uniforms and those have invisible zippers up the back of the uniform.Isn’t that a really awkward feature to have on a service uniform? If you’ve ever worn or had a partner that has worn a garment with an invisible zipper you know they suck and get caught constantly, and I do not for one second believe they would improve enough in 300 years to resolve this

       @conorh Well it is a little known fact that Emory Erickson actually invented the transporter after some trouble extracting himself from a tightly zippered uniform.
