       Oh dear... I just got a big email from our boys' high school about the upcoming school board elections - which are going to be 'Electronic Elections'. Ho boy. There's a link in the email with a link to 'learn more about electronic elections'. It send me to a site with an invalid SSL certificate. This is exactly what I would've expected from this sort of numpty approach.

       @lightweight Put yourself forward! I've just been elected for a second term and part of the reason we're not doing electronic elections is that I've been on there discouraging their use. The other reason is cost.You would add a strong voice of caution and informed advice.

       @paw I've considered it, briefly. But my volunteer/political action time allocation is already large... and I'm trying to start a new business, too... and I'd pity them for having me, as I suspect I'd have limited interest in most of their purview...
