This crap about “spoiler votes” is ridiculous and childish and sad. Democrats lose when they try to appeal to the right. That’s all this is. They are constantly pushing back and trying to suppress progressive members of the party and they will not allow progressive messages on the national stage and that’s why they lose. Refusing to acknowledge this just means they’ll do it again and lose again.

@danirabbit Ballots are littered with "third" parties that everyone's forgotten.But I wonder if, say, the Squad could follow the lesson of Sultana and Corbyn in the UK.I'd prefer something built from the ground up, but shaking people out of their commitment to their own doom seems the most critical part.

@foolishowl @danirabbit the major problem with both US and UK is the antiquated FPTP voting system. I suggest people advocate for electoral reform alongside anything else, for example the ERS in UK, I'm sure there are similar orgs in the states.
