@paulschoe @MennoOng In my view,(1) Colonialism was a mixed bag. The third world was poor and dysfunctional before, and slightly less so afterwards. Big problem was violating the Prime Directive.(2) At this point, the third world wants autonomy, so it should be given. We do not need to remain in control here.
