Also if the former head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics was in the tank for Democrats she did a *terrible* job rigging things in their favor. Lackluster often worse than what we are seeing this month numbers for Biden. I remember discussing them.

@futurebird The BLS commissioner throughout most of Biden's term was a Trump appointee named William Beach. His term ran from March 2019-March 2023. Biden's worst job numbers were at the beginning of his term. We saw robust job growth through most of 2023 and all of 2024, if I recall correctly.

@futurebird The thing about this guy is that he has literally never had the experience of sitting down with a complicated idea or question and worked through it. He doesn't, on some deep level, believe that that's a thing. His fury with Fauci, with this woman, with the Fed chief, with anyone who reports inconvenient facts, is that he thinks they're bullshitting, because it's all he's ever done or known, and doesn't understand why they don't say the most convenient bullshit.
