       Asking myself if there is a new feeling amongst most people, some kind of hopelessnes, or if that was always there?  Do we, generally, perceive the world as more hopeless, and thus shut down, or is the general vibe of giving up more an artifact of how action is compartmentalized, no longer meaningful, thus a slow but steady development?  Haha, living through climate collapse and resurgence of fascism, i still ask myself systemic questions instead of bashing fascists and destroying fossil fuel power plants. Humanity is doomed, i am the showcase.  But hey, while we live, what do you think about new feeling versus slowly advancing compartmentalization?        @interfluidity I don't see any problem of you living up to your standards, but the question was more like "why tf is everyone giving up, is it because we are nearly dead or more like, some not-humane human handling?"        @interfluidity I guess i didn't describe very well what i mean.  I have a feeling like a new kind of "giving up" feeling is there. Not on social media, but pervasive.
