I enjoy being drunk, but i would enjoy being sober and cooperating even more. Ok, so thinking aloud time: Fascism, focussing on "hating others" (the outgroup) is inefficient. Emotions are important to get the complete picture, but i want to ignore emotions for a bit here. Because emotions would just make facism worse, and i want to focus on the efficiency part. So i heard humans most important trait was tool use. I want to dispute that, i think collaboration (beyond animal packs) is the greatest trait we have. Helping each other beyond a short lived action is actually helpful, like dividing work for example. So when fascism ostracises an outgroup, it destroys the efficiency humans can achieve. There's unnecessary struggle, outgroup forced to push back, ingroup people that want collaboration push back, just a lot of struggle that is completely unnecessary. So i say fascism is not just an offence to human rights and such, but an inefficient way to shape human society, beyond all humanitarian or empathetic concerns.

I am wondering, this whole "humanity wants to die", not reflected and explicit, but by voting for fascists and generally not caring, like walking into traffic or travelling into the us, what's up with that? Humans are so easily angered, so aggressive, but nowadays it seems like "yeah sure, feed me into the meat grinder, this is fine." How does that work? How are those aggressive, i-have-a-fist-i-can-punch-it people so passive?

Asking myself if there is a new feeling amongst most people, some kind of hopelessnes, or if that was always there? Do we, generally, perceive the world as more hopeless, and thus shut down, or is the general vibe of giving up more an artifact of how action is compartmentalized, no longer meaningful, thus a slow but steady development? Haha, living through climate collapse and resurgence of fascism, i still ask myself systemic questions instead of bashing fascists and destroying fossil fuel power plants. Humanity is doomed, i am the showcase. But hey, while we live, what do you think about new feeling versus slowly advancing compartmentalization?
