Math question: I have an external battery, that occasionally displays the charge level. Except I don't know which side is up, and it seems every time I look at it the number can be read either way. Am I just unlucky or is that statistically likely?

@nholzschuch the probability of misreading numbers on a charge displayed as 01-100 is 42% if you're hand-wavy about the position of the 1

@nholzschuch The 6 digits that can be read both sides are 0, 2, 5, 6, 8 and 9. This makes 36%, if you assume that numbers less than 10 are written with a leading 0. If they don't, then it's only 30%.Now you may include the 1 which, as observed by @feliks is usually placed on the right, so it can't really be confused with its upside-down version, but let's pretend it can. Then it's 49% (with leading 0s) or 42% (without).
