       I still hate cryptocurrency culture, but I’m going to keep beating the drum that we need to look at strategies for alternate currencies when payment processors control what we can and cannot see and do. Angry queer disillusioned tech people have some power here. If we can do it without burning the planet, please let’s do it.

       @tilton@fursuits.online Cryptocurrencies per se are not evil incarnate. Especially if you look at things like monero which allow you to pay for stuff in a safe way, if you know what you're doing. The problem when it comes to cryptocurrencies is people playing stock market with them. And I'm not even saying this to shill monero, I don't own any crypto at all, but if I had to buy something keeping my privacy? I wouldn't have problems using them.
