       We live in terrifying times. Every day we watch as Israel commits more and more crimes while those in power in the west clamp down on protest and arrest ordinary folk. On the home front the norm has become boost the rich at the expense of the poor and othering minorities. Is this a window into our times? The people in power watch how the world reacts to extremism. Might they be calculating just what else they can get away with? Has the sleepwalk towards fascism become a goose-step march?
