@Paradox@raru.re he's literally the most elite of elites. about as establishment as you can get. I will credit him that he's smarter than most of of the US political class and seems to actually realize what's at stake but his goals are diametrically opposed to the best interests of 99.999% of the population

@anemone I'd honestly be more surprised if he doesn't.Trump isn't going to pull the "trying for a third term" trigger because 1: the optics would be so bad even he would realize it, and 2: he's old and probobly doesn't want to. JD Vance is a total loser and everyone hates him, so running him is admitting defeat; and the R base no longer will accept anyone who isn't at very least Trump-like and he's the only game in town.

@Ergo @anemone I think it's more likely to be a Tucker vs. Newsom election, since as trash as he is, he's a charismatic looking white guy who most non-terminally online people atleast know the name of, and that's honestly all you need for most Americans.
