I only learned of this project recently, via Talia Lavin's recent _Wild Faith_: https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/talia-lavin/wild-faith/9780306829192/. Excellent book, but the second part, on education, families, women, and children, includes some very disturbing accounts.
