But it's usability lifespan would have been greater, same thing for the S3 S4 and other other brand mobile phone in existence if they did not shorten the usability life artificially.We would have also a lot less models, thus a lot less issue for software/hardware maintenance. @mangeurdenuage The only thing I care about in hardware improvements nowadays would be cameras or battery. On laptops what I want right now is a machine that runs cool, lasts a long time on battery, and is powerful enough to do RAW photo editing. For phones, just improvements to cameras and battery is enough. Everything else has kind of plateaued in capabilities these days and few things are really exciting anymore. @sun @hakui
