       @bronakins I left the church because of these jackleg preachers. More interested in their bank account and getting clout than saving souls or ministering. Oh,and they want to get on TV like T.D. Jakes and Creflo Dollar.

       @IveyJanette I hear ya!My son & daughter in law live paycheck to paycheck, yet she gives $$ to her church. I told my son if your preacher drives a better car & loves in a nicer house than you, he doesn’t deserve your $$$.

       @bronakins @IveyJanette An ex street preacher was the one who pointed out how messed up the tithe stuff is.When 10% of the population worked for the church, the tithe was set at 10% of the community wealth. Basically it was just giving clergy the average income of the community.Now we have megachurches with thousands upon thousands of parishioners paying the same percentage to a miniscule population of clergy. No wonder they're rich.

       @bronakins @gooba42 And the megachurches "screen potential members" by having "orientation sessions",and requiring a MINIMUM $100 tithe every week to become a member. Plus the MAGA racism and homophobia is disgusting.
