       Eventually we're going to have to move past 32 bit libraries, one day, probably, maybe. Even if it doesn't happen this time, a nudge in that direction to remind Valve to sort this out is a good thing.

       @BrodieOnLinux I guess there is little hope for that as long as Microsoft supports SysWOW64, and even if they drop it. Having a viable 32bit platform for old games would still be desirable

       @BrodieOnLinux well Apple could make Valve drop 32 bit years ago, so why not Red Hat?Apple even made Valve drop X86 on the Mac side with the current beta

       @BrodieOnLinux Free software has already moved to 32 bit libraries for 32 bit and 64 bit libraries for 64 bit.Just stop running proprietary software.
