       I declined a $1,000/month ESLint sponsorship from a pay-for-follows company. That's not the type of sponsor we want. It's frustrating that these types of companies (as well as online casinos) are more willing to sponsor ESLint than tech companies where ESLint is used.

       @nzakas I work for a company using eslint.They spend 0 euro in FOSS despite relying a lot on it.They only buy crap stuff from #microsoft.Don't underestimate the influence of sell guys on the buyers.Even internally, you have to sell/drive investment to go to the proper projects but often the crappy, good looking, trendy mirage catch the money of management first.I believe #microsoft is using a freemium model to lure deciders and it works well.
