@etam @winterschon it... requires... systemd?It wouldn't affect any of my gentoo or devuan installs running in prod as we speak.you might be right in that it's not directly related to systemd, but systemd is a fractal of no good, authd being part of that ecosystem.let me have my gripes, i let you have yours (i think)

@picofarad @winterschon it... requires... systemd?No, it does not. It requires PAM and dbus and neither are part of systemd.(It has support for sd_notify, which does not require systemd and is not required by systemd)
