@jrballesteros05@social.linux.pizza @paul@notnull.space @xmpp@fosstodon.org XMPP is nice, and setting up a server is quite simple while also very light on resources (especially compared to a Matrix homeserver). The only downside I've had with XMPP is that there's no good desktop (gui or cli) clients.
