Is there somewhere I can buy coax power cables and just select the volts, amps, and barrel size? I'm kind of surprised monoprice doesn't do this, but they don't even have a category for them (they're just scattered around and listed as a power supply for a specific thing, you can't actually find or buy them by the specs as far as I can tell).

It appears that this actually doesn't exist, which is shocking to me. Anyone want to team up to just make a site that sources power supplies and lets you type in the specific sizes to find them without being overly technical? I feel like you could make a fortune doing this because right now finding a replacement is impossible.

@purple Even if it is listed they never list the barrel size (and I don't trust them to know it or measure it properly). Plus you can't find it because even if it's listed you have to dig through every single category of electronics on whatever site because they're never in a category of their own. Also I just don't want to waste time emailing people :)

@sam@social.coop i've literally shook hands with the owner of that company at Dayton and currently use their cable for all of my antennas, but, ... if you say so. good luck.

@tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com hit up places like habitat for humanity. you'll find all sorts of appropriate grounding wire disguised as things like "grounding kits for whole-shop vacs" also they can be a good source of PVC or electrical conduit for building small rigid antenna structures.
