@jazzilla wasn't that what they had been accused of for a thousand years or more? A nation within nations? That they were never "real citizens"? And they vehemently denied this? They even blistered against restoration because it reinforced this allegation. Now, its just out in the open. The arc is quite spectacular.

@Henhouse_Cockerel yes. The Byzantine empire forbade Jews from politics or teaching positions for nearly a thousand years.Many ppl in the world, including in America, spoke out against the plans for a Jewish state in the 20th c.Ppl used to know history, now it's just Antisemitism, I guess?

@jazzilla many Jews spoke against restoration in the 19th century, it took two pogroms and Hitler to get a majority consensus amongst Jews to support an Israel.People are so dumbed down today as to know nothing to forget.It was the extremist that built the foundation. @Henhouse_Cockerel Pete Q is in the middle of a year long podcast series reading solzhenitzen 200 years together with a history expert side car commentator.I haven't listened to them all, but I tried to read it last year, but it's very inaccessible to Americans. Because we have to have at least a beginning education to understand what he's referring to. None of us got that. Every time I've worked with a Russian I'm reminded by how we have a shit education system, because no one is educated

just started the 30-40 block of episodes.What is becoming clear is that there are really only 2 kinds of government systems: Theres oligarchy and monarchy. That’s it.communism, capitalism, democracy, republics, socialism…etc are just costumes for (Talmudic) oligarchy. Either there is a Monarchy which has the power to balance the oligarchs, or the oligarchs take over.Perhaps an argument could be made that a Republic is a counterbalance to oligarchies, but republics, like other democratic systems are too open to subversion and thus, are merely transition stages to oligarchies.
