       We've had more sunshine this spring than last year, my first spring in the PNW. I'm grateful for that. Though it's been a challenge in how as I've gotten old, my skin has become more sensitive to sunlight and if I get too much early on, I don't simply burn but break out into a rash and hives.I've been using a lot of sunscreen, trying to make sure I remember to slather myself in it before going out in sunshine, and reapplying every 2 to 3 hours.

       Felt like the bad nights of sleep laid the hammer on me this afternoon and I took a nap.I fell asleep and napped so hard that I woke up confused, because I didn't remember that I had gotten in bed to nap.
