Can anyone help me find a comic I saw a while back? It had a manager talking to a worker, "how long to do X project?", worker says "2 months", manager: "what if I hired more workers and doubled your staff?" worker: "10 months." Anyone remember a comic to that effect?

@mwtThe concept is Brooks's law: "Adding manpower to a late software project makes it later".Searching for that yielded this one:https://workchronicles.substack.com/p/comic-adding-more-people-to-a-project-8ebIs that it?

something something linearity bias.people are optimized for environments that scale linearly and for the spaces that people were intended to live in that mostly works. it just isn't how nature works and people aren't really good at processing superlinear things.
