@dr_a @mediaarchaeologylab I had a pair of glasses that did this! I think they were "new", was probably only 20-25 years ago

@ricci @dr_a @mediaarchaeologylab wait. They didn’t all have an external sync? I played with some shutter glasses literally 30 years ago at NCSA’s CAVE and I don’t remember any wires. Just a button on the bridge.Come to think of it, maybe those didn’t have an external sync, because I think we had to press it a few times to get it work

@jonathankoren @dr_a @mediaarchaeologylab Mine had a TRS jack or something to do the external sync, plugged directly into the video card. I think it was a 3dfx card of some type...
