B-52s parked on the runway in Barksdale AFB, LouisianaThe US is under the same treaty obligations as Russia. If we got hit like they did 1/2 of our heavy bomber fleet would easily be taken out

@Thusnelda @Terry If you look at a broader map view there are no fewer than 35 B-52s there. It's going to take a massive amount of hanger space to house those. And there's more at Minot AFB.

@Thusnelda @Throbulator96 yeah so we now where and how many bombers are stationed and that you're not secretly creating a huge fleet of them outside of view.The bombers are mostly obsolete at least in their traditional role and its not like America even has the ability to create a huge fleet of bombers anyways.

@Terry @Throbulator96 Ty. It just seems weird to me that we have to do that. Why are we not allowed to build up a huge fleet of them if we want to? It's because some type of agreement with other countries, yes?
