@Dagnar @mothersmurfer @EvilSandmich @thefinn It's also carrying less ammo for more weight. They want to keep 7 mags as the combat load woth 20 round capacity instead of 30. That and carrying all the other bullshit on top of that as well. Just an all around bad idea, nevermind it's a Sig product so it'll probably fail catastrophically lol

@Dagnar @EvilSandmich @mothersmurfer @thefinn It's designed to print money for Siggers. If I remember correctly, the M4 costs 600 per unit for the military and this abortion is significantly more. The whole project was created in a weird way, they wanted to push the engagement distance for the rifleman to match that pf the machine section. Ten years later this thing waddles out and Sig starts getting all the small arms contracts. On top of that the idea for the infantry now is for them to get as close as possible to not allow UAS to be used on them. The real tell is that Rangers & Marines have both rejected the M7, Rangers are sticking with the URGI & Marines with the M27
