@js @gagglepod Are you still using the Alby custodial wallet? I added that code a couple weeks ago to flag the old Alby and Fountain custodial wallets. Here's an example feed: https://podcastindex.org/podcast/7294943

@ericpp @js Yes. I never changed my Alby setup.I was overcome by events for the past 5 months (had to survive the DOGE fun time first).I think I missed a memo or something! LOL

@gagglepod @ericpp ok Kyle I'm not sure why the website has the icon there, but that node still works. For evidence, you can see there is a reflex chapter there representing things seen from that address: https://reflex.livewire.io/chapters/podcast/a1e7b24a-e2b5-5232-be37-69f71dd0739e/item/05d50c32-8b33-534d-ae78-1092a28bbddfIf you want you can also use my alby hub node address "03a2cb3058309f7a0355b9583fc4347d82b251ee94997aec4d4e5573b181a49657" keeping everything else the same, but really I think this is a pi website problem.

@js @gagglepod It flags splits still using the old custodial Alby wallet address. Alby turned off access to custodial wallets awhile ago and now wants everyone to use their own Alby Hub nodes. I added that flag to the website to flag splits that might need to be updated due to that change.I think the API calls for the old custodial wallets still do work, which is why it still seems to be working for you.

@ericpp (couldn't follow the thread)but the Alby HTTP API works as before and uses the user's connected wallet. There will be no change. Though I think NWC is the encouraged and flexible API for app developers now.

@bumi I added warning flags on the Podcastindex website that show up next to any splits still using the old Alby custodial wallet. See: https://podcastindex.org/podcast/7294943John is using an old Alby custodial wallet and the Alby API to capture boost info for his reflex.livewire.io service and says it's still working fine.So I assume that you still have the HTTP API enabled for the old custodial wallets?

@ericpp there is no change in the API. the API works with whatever wallet the user has connected.with the old shared one people can still receive but must move to their own wallet. thanks for adding this!
