And you can still use any NWC wallet to simply migrate the funds.Here we talk about setting up a self-sovereign lightning node on a home computer running Umbrel to be in full control and own everything.to me your comments are a bit confusing and should not be mixed here.

Also I was confused why you think a channel costs $1000. Sorry that I don't understand that. Guess we all try to help here. Great that you help. @Darren @Vox @adam @csb @ericpp To simply get a channel with 1m capacity you don't need $1000USD. Such a channel cost much less than $20USD from a LSP. If you want to put $1000USD in a channel to be able to send $1000USD then you need those, yes.Maybe @Vox should say what she wants. because to me in this conversation we talked about a node that should run at home with LND to send/receive boosts.I might be wrong.

@Vox @Darren @adam @csb @ericpp that probably shows the spendable balance. but that channel probably requires you to fill up the channel reserve first (in alby hub this is shown on the node page, I think also for LND nodes. best check all that in your lightning node app or alby hub on umbrel)to transfer your old Alby balance go to: https://getalby.com/node (you had posted a screenshot before)

@Darren @Vox no, that account does not have a cloud hosted hub… otherwise it would also show.I can’t know what hub you have setup in July.if you don’t have it anymore, then import the seed from july.

@Vox @ericpp @Darren I sadly don’t get what you’re trying to do now.You have setup your Umbrel now, the Alby LN address is connected, you transferred old funds, and everything seems to work.You also seem to have setup some other Alby Hub in July. If you forgot how you ran that sadly nobody here can know that. you’ll also don’t find any links in the Alby dashboard because it’s not an Alby cloud hosted one.

@Darren @Vox @ericpp yes our logs show that in July a Alby Hub was started (not in the Alby cloud), a channel was opened and funds of that amount were transferred. what, where that Alby Hub we don’t know.The backup requires the wallet backup key - that recovery phrase from July of that hub. (this is not the words of the Umbrel Lighning app, not from the extension, … but from that hub that was setup in July)

@dave we did that: https://github.com/getAlby/nostr-wallet-connect/tree/feat/strikebut strike was missing things and they sadly dropped it. we should ask them to pick it up again.currently generally the interest is bigger and more NWC support is coming.

@csb @Vox @Darren @ericpp The Pi is working fine, and that’s all setup. Darren opened the channel and payments can be sent and received. that last thing here was about looking at that forgotten setup from July which still might hold sats.

@csb @Vox @Darren @ericpp her hub on the Pi is running. a channel is opened, money has been received.that is all setup and free. and she can receive and send boostagrams (won’t work with coinos etc.)don’t make the mistake again to throw this setup now away and break it again with some other things. she might need to update the RSS feeds to use her new node.but from the node and setup side all is fine.

@dave @csb @adam that error was because if a hub is down or has issues while it gets many payment requests then it gets blocked for a while. Typical LNURL load so far looked differently than boost requests. We also adjusted this. what problems do you see?
