@BrodieOnLinux what is this "something" that might happen that forces you to rewrite parts of the kernel? And why does it sound like they are trying to rewrite the detonation logic of a nuclear bomb here?Also, one could even replace sudo{, -rs} with doas (without rewriting parts of the kernel, mind you!)What a curious argument

@BrodieOnLinux Linux contains no C++ - sepples was never allowed.Alas, they allowed Rust cancer in (probably because it was a proprietary language without any free implementations).

@BrodieOnLinux I will never understand why people say C/C++. They are two distinct languages. C code does not compile in the C++ compiler.Especially when ranking languages. Nobody writing C writes C++, and vice versa.I know C++ started out as a preprocessor that generated C files, but that hasn’t been true for decades.
