IDK if any of you are into castles but this wikipedia article is terrible. It's literally just all the goofy rumors and folktales about this place and not much else. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houska_Castle

@graham_knapp Maybe I can steal some of the sources from there and try to add an actual fact or two ... But I was looking it up since I didn't know anything about it. I don't know where it fits contextually in history or what its real significance would be if that makes sense.

To entice someone to improve this I will point out that this castle and the scary stories about it are becoming very popular in online horror so a lot of people curious about the castle and the real history will see your work. It could be a chance to get them interested in the real history!Perhaps it's not an important castle in history, but it has become important in contemporary english language folklore.

@futurebird interestingly (to me, anyway), reading those rumors I feel pretty sure they're the basis for a lot of this filmhttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Keep_(film)I haven't read the book it's based on, so not sure if they are in the as well

@jeana It also reminds me of "The Gate" which was a recent #monsterdon movie.

@futurebird the idea of a demon-containment castle is an interesting onemost castles are made to be as easy as possible to defend and as hard as possible to directly attack, but a castle meant to protect the world should be the inverse of thishow to construct a building that's as easy as possible to invade but as difficult as possible to defend for the demons that live inside(looking briefly at some images though, it doesn't seem they built it that way, so..)
