#kosmos482 is probably already down, so I'm just looking for some confirmation (like missed radar observations in Europe), but if those estimates were correct, then it may have gone down somewhere over Guatemala, Cuba or US east coast, which means there may have been sightings. Is it weird to watch for real-time updates in the wikipedia page revision history?

#kosmos482 Missed radar sighting over Germany confirmed:Status 10 May 09:56 CESTAs the descent craft was not spotted by radar over Germany at the expected 07:32 UTC / 09:32 CEST pass, it is most likely that the reentry has already occurred.https://blogs.esa.int/rocketscience/2025/05/07/reentry-prediction-soviet-era-venera-venus-lander-cosmos-482-descent-craft/

According to ESA https://blogs.esa.int/rocketscience/2025/05/07/reentry-prediction-soviet-era-venera-venus-lander-cosmos-482-descent-craft/ #kosmos482 was last detected over Germany at 06:04 UTC and then not detected anymore at 07:32 UTC. Replaying the last orbit using https://www.satflare.com/track.asp?q=6073#TOP shows it reasonably accurate at 6:06 over Germany, then going over Ukraine, Afghanistan, India, west corner of Australia, then a lot of Pacific Ocean, towards Guatemala, Cuba, Atlantic Ocean, never making it again to Germany. So top contender - Pacific Ocean.
